TIL the London Bridge built in the 1830s, that spanned the River Thames was auctioned off and sold in 1968, was purchased from the City of London for $2,460,000. It was disassemble, shipped across the Atlantic, through the Panama canal, eventually reassembled in Lake Havasu City, Arizona.
