Having a wife/gf is like good physique outside of the gym that one can be happy with, it provides one with 24 hour comfort and self esteem. Having sex but with no gf is like having a fat powerlifter physique but being really strong, sure you feel good for an hour at most while you're in the gym or having sex but once you're done you're no different from a fat guy, and the guys with good physiques are also strong even if not as strong as you because you can't get bigger without also getting stronger anyways.
