Forks did. Rebuilted. That nonsense is *over*.

Holy moly... it's an easy job, but everyone's instructions are horrible, and missing steps. Even the shop book. I could do this in under three hours, next time, on any bike.

Shiny new low-budget drill press hooked me up with big holes. Respect.

There's still so much to do. I guess I'm on to the radiator, next. Somehow, I have to purge every drop of water. I'm moving to a waterless coolant and the insert says it's a big deal. That'll be a good way to get angry, this week.RT:

OK I bought a drill press. :pepeDread:

Learning on the parts for which I have no spares is the smart play. I believe this can be easier if I get the right bits like a person with a functioning brain would do.

Anyway, I think all I am doing is disabling these rods so the cartridge emulators can take over, and none of this has to be very good as long as it's not causing the oil to foam up.

1/6 completed so far. In the end there will be six holes in each, and then I'm throwing everything back together so I can check something off the list before my head caves in.RT:
