I've mentioned this before, but it's just crazy to me how the leftists keep mocking Russia for being weak and pathetic, keep repeating the "Russia expected to conquer Ukraine in 3 days" lie, keep talking about how Russia isn't a great power and shouldn't be treated with respect, their sphere of influence can safely be violated etc, only to instantly do a 180 and openly panic about Russia invading Western Europe (and presumably even the US, since Zelensky keeps claiming that he's defending all of us with his war) when it suits them. Oh, and they also claim that Russia has a bunch of Western leaders on their payroll and are singlehandedly responsible for the rise of Populists in the West.
The closest thing the left-liberals come to a fair analysis of Russia is when the say that Russia's economy is shit while their conventional army is overrated, and that only their nukes are truly scary - which just makes it all the more insane how they keep promoting a policy that makes nuclear war more likely.
Either Russia is a weak and only a real threat to non-NATO neighboring countries, in which case the West needs to take a chill pill, or they really are strong and dangerous, in which case diplomacy and reasonable concessions is necessary to avoid Armageddon.
