ONLY downside is TVs have a slower refresh rate so not suitable for competitive shooter gaming, but i was still able to win matches in Fortnite on a TV ( playing in 8K resolution ) so it's fine for casual gaming.
the other benefit of a big screen ( do not go lower than 65" ) is when reading a long text you can actually get up and walk around the room while continuing to read it - this is a huge benefit for your eyes, posture and health overall.
