what all Audiophiles have in common is none of them are interested in doing anything that would objectively improve the sound quality of their system

they are only interested in "upgrades" that make their system fancier, not better sounding

this is for example why Audiophiles never do any acoustical room treatments versus recording studios where there is 10 times as much money in acoustical treatment than in audio equipment

on other hand Audiophiles always use the most expensive "audiophile" cables while recording studios always use standard ones

because acoustical room treatment actually makes a difference so Audiophiles don't care about it

while cables do not make a difference so to Audiophiles they are the most important
