The only recent units worth waifuing in Arknights were these two girls and they were just in NPC jail. MOST of Arknights designs start in NPC jail at this point. They are definitely not mining new lostbelts for historical bullshit to make new Rins like certain other games, but yes Arknights has certainly crested the point where they don't care about new designs.
