Okay. Fiddling with the next prototype. Want to add an exposed ground strip around the circumference of the PCB, on both sides; move the I/O ports to an external PCB via an IDC ribbon; remove all PTH parts other than the electrolytic caps, regulators, and cartridge port; and remove the need for the Upduino and DAC boards by integrating that functionality. For testing purposes, I also want to put in 4/8/10/12/14/16MHz FCLK oscillators with an enable header to select which one to use.
And ideally, squeeze the board into 100mm square, four layers, ready for in-factory assembly, so it can serve as the early adopter/dev board.
