The AdaFruit GFX library is very easy to get started with when interfacing with an IL9341 display, with a simple API. Cool!
Not so cool: the implementation is immensely suboptimal. All drawing functions assume pixel data is stored in flash memory, so SPI fetches everywhere. Uff.
