What I’m thinking is that you’d have a PDF that includes signed pages. You’d then need an application where you could drag and drop the PDF and the app spits out an NFT. Perhaps ideally, this application that creates the NFT also acts as a wallet where you can peruse all the signed documents.
One problem with an NFT is that only one party can hold it since they’re each unique. So you’d probably want to tell the application how many copies to create. That way, in the sale of a home for example, there could be a copy for the buyer, the seller, and for the title company to keep. (All title information should be on a blockchain but that’s another conversation.) The application could even embed the number of copies generated as well as plenty of other pertinent metadata. Continuing the home sale example, when title distributes the final set of closing documents it includes the public address of all signed document copies for future verification.
