With schnorr signatures we can do new multisignature (like musig) and threshold signature (like frost) constructions. So imagine you have a 2/3 multisig wallet, but onchain it just looks like a singlesig. Thats what you can do with FROST now that we have schnorr signatures. Thats cool, but not the whole story.
What happens if you have a normal 2/3 multisig wallet in bitcoin today, and you lose a key? You go and get a new key, make a new multisig, and sweep the old wallet to the new wallet.
The REALLY cool thing is that the way the math works (VERY happy to get into the details, but the tldr is its basically shamirs secret sharing, but upside down), you can replace one of your signers WITHOUT making a transaction.
