Seeing more and more news articles being shared on Mastodon using AppleNews URLs: please, maybe don’t do that?

AppleNews is the most un-Web, un-Mastodon-like platform you could imagine. So linking to it instead of linking to the original news website’s actual URL is imho uncool. Especially when one has deleted Apple’s middleman quicksand sinkhole of surveillance, tracking, and monetization app with good riddance already.
