I do a lot of piece work myself. Some customers think if you're quick and efficient that they're overpaying for the service. Typically they themselves are people with no skill.
Like I know how to change the oil in my truck and have before, but I'd rather pay a mechanic because he's going to run a quick diagnostic, check fluids, rotate the tires etc. In the end it's worth it.
