Franziska Albrecht on Nostr: Listening to the audiobook of Natasha Pulley's novel "The Half Life of Valery K." and ...
Listening to the audiobook of Natasha Pulley's novel "The Half Life of Valery K." and enjoying it immensely. It's a gripping (if terrifying) story and I really enjoy her writing style and the character portraits. I like that there are no clear lines between "good" and "evil", just the tacit assumption that most people are capable of both, under the right circumstances.
Fair warning; certainly not a happy book, what with all the dead, dying, and traumatized people.
