Sitting on the front porch drinking hot coffee while a steady spring rain falls. The hummingbirds, indifferent to the rain, swoop back and forth from feeder to feeder whilst harassing one another occasionally.

It sounds so peaceful, and it is, and there is also a barn swallow who's being extra mouthy this morning, so there's very loud intermittent chirping happening.

The bird life at our house never fails to entertain us.
