As an Australian, one of the best aspects of the 'Toots - unlike all those other old social media platforms - is it isn't US centric.
We're not 'Oceania', lumped in with Americans on their centralised platform, drowning in United States bullshit.
And as a fierce critic of the so-called alliance, find it liberating. No need to be delicate or placate or deal with a bunch of inherently fucked arguments and assumptions whenever making a post.
