Daphne odora in my garden (I've forgotten the cultivar name). If you are lucky enough to live in an area where you can grow these, (they are evergreen to about 15F or -9 C and good in USDA zones 4-9) they are fantastic plants. They bloom late winter or early spring and the fragrance is astounding. Fills the whole garden. They have a reputation for being difficult, so maybe I just found a sweet spot by chance. I do irrigate them all summer.
