It's not just you, the IPCC also understands this and its not just particulate pollution. One estimate Insaw indicated a billion tonnes of CO2 just to mine the Lithium (doing vast ecological damage on the way) other issues include urban sprawl leading to biodiversity loss, and endless concrete and asphalt for long commutes, all needing massive amounts of GHGs to construct. The urban heat island effects adding about 6c to many cities because they are full of concrete and asphalt and not bike ways, trees and shrubs with 15 minute medium density cities

Ecars distarct from real solutions, I have still not figured out if proponents are self entitled, or just delusional ? Aside from edge use cases of course such as shared ecars in rural areas perhaps, we shoukd be able to reduce usage by 80% or so.
