Great job Randa. I only suggest you to move your .zshrc file to .config/zsh/.zshrc and create a proper .zprofile inside your home directory and put all the environment variables inside it. And most important an env. var. ZDOTDIR=$HOME/.config/zsh to recognize the new directory
