Whoops. I, almost accidentally, created yet another web site where I can post things. Not that I need one, I don’t update the ones I already have nearly enough, but it also goes to show how easy it can be for “anyone” to create a web site, should they wish for one. And they/you **should**, at least if you don’t own your other content outlets/social media.
The one I created today is a side-function of using the app Standard Notes. As a web site it is pretty basic, no fancy animations or flashy functionality, but for publishing text it is probably great. Also the price (free) is quite competetive, and it comes with the important functionality of:<li>No need to manage servers or hosting</li><li>Completely encrypted posts/drafts until you decide to publish your post/article</li><li>Proper certificate with https, all managed for you</li>
You can pay them money for some fancy additions but that is all optional, and you can also connect an existing domain (or sub-domain) to it, should you want to. Nice.
