Tell your daughter my mother always gave me Coca-Cola syrup when I had stomach problems (back in the day in NYC you could buy the syrup and make your own coca-cola, just as you liked it). So we could get the full dose. And, it worked. If she thinks it's unhealthy, tell her this forces the germs to eat it to make them sick! Isn't this a good thing then when you're sick?
