All of the ~1yr old #meshtastic T-Echos' serial ports weren't working (during normal operation).
I could still flash the devices and read from the serial port, but I was unable to write to it. Other devices worked fine. Wasn't a baud rate or permissions issue.
I fixed it by factory-erasing the devices: https://meshtastic.org/docs/getting-started/flashing-firmware/nrf52/nrf52-erase/
Serial in/out works now. No idea why it happened, or why a factory erase fixed it. Hopefully this helps someone.
