I have a pal since I was 5 years old. He's always been a stubborn dude and has been beside himself since he was diagnosed with MS 20+ years ago. Hates having to have people help him. He feels like he's burdening people. We all know this guy. Hell, I'm one of them to the nth degree.

That's the same stubbornness that led to him ignoring that an entire lung was turning into a tumor. Now I'm waiting on the goodbye FaceTime from the ICU. Fucking. Brutal. This ain't my vibe. At all.
