Unfortunately, I will be giving up my #bike commute to work despite the 2 km distance. The roads are poorly lit, narrow, and drivers greatly exceed the 50 km/h speed limit during my commute time.
This didn't bother me so much when it was light out during my commute, but as we get darker in the morning it is becoming far more unsafe. I don't need to be blasted by a chud-truck going 80 km/h.
I still use my bike for other trips, but this is one I'll be doing by car until May or June.
