Sorry to hear that. If you mean MaxCoin that was not "his" coin. It was in honour of him. They state this somewhere. Not even sure that was premined, but it did have a big reorg. I think they have some novel mining algo. I actually think MaxCoin is OK. But he probably didnt want to debate about it being "his" coin, for the Nth time. I met Max and Stacy at the first bitcoin conf. that we organized. I helped them recover their lost coins, after hd failure -- they didnt even know it was possible. Sounds like a misunderstanding. They are very good fun if you meet them.
