I had one of these sharpeners for drafting pencils growing up. I used the hell out of mine. I think it was an Alvin hand me down from my dad. This is a 1099 from Frederick Post and based on the color I’d bet on early 1960s vintage.
Still works beautifully after cleaning up and getting rid of probably 50 years of graphite.
Cast iron.
