I was curious about how my new MP was getting on, what he was doing for his new constituency (he's the first ever Labour MP here, and the first who isn't a Tory for a hundred years).
And I remembered that https://www.theyworkforyou.com/ exists. They have a service where they send you an email every time your MP does something in Parliament - speaks, votes, questions, whatever.
Turns out, my new MP seems to have made a very bright start. Been getting involved a lot, and appears to have a particular focus on accessibility in rural areas. Which is good. Hope he keeps it up.
So, anyway, yes, I just wanted to point out - to anyone who might be interested but doesn't know - that you can go to They Work For You and also get emails about your MP. There's no spam or anything, not that I've ever encountered. Just the information.
(I think they have an RSS thing as well, but not sure, I've never known anything about RSS.)
Given how many of us have new MPs now - I think about half of all MPs are new to Parliament this year - I thought this might be a good time to point this up.
