I have a few current impasses (like a possible adoption, per family lore) and then some trails that might be intact, if I could, forex, get over to Wales right now and dig in physical Baptist church records ;)
But discontinuities from family estrangements can be rough: not everyone feels like burying their grandparents’ hatchet even if you can find ‘em :(
