i love visiting my brother, and one of the things that we have rediscovered from growing up together is taking turns and watching each other play video games. neither of us are all that into video games, but for as long as we had them we would take turns with the gameboy (now the switch), and i would narrate his play or vice versa... i think this is way more common now with streaming, but i don't rly watch streams and for me realized it was an oddly intimate sibling moment. i was watching him play Sim City until like 3am last night and spinning lore about the city and remembering how i had been doing that since i was a kid without giving a name to it.
