Concepts like "mental health", "kids being kids", "balance", "living life", and "risk assessment" have been weaponized very effectively by minimizers to justify let it rip. Balance and risk are what I talk about all the time, but even I really hesitate to use those words now. I think the COVID-conscious need to figure out new ways to communicate outside our own circle.
