🐍Snek🐍 (nprofile…6cg9) Some tips for the Arknights Catastrophes event: The tutorial tells you the overcharge bar on the enemy raises their stats, but it really doesn't highlight it well enough, so you can reach a situation where "Why are these B strength enemies three-tapping Hoshiguma?" Because the overcharge bar raises their stats. The event isn't hard otherwise, you don't have a lot of power over the gimmick and stat sticks aren't a problem if you cheat or play SSR meta, but just in case you get wrekt, that is probably why.
The boss is Clip Cliff, the evil cowboy who shows up after you rob the bank to politely ask you to put the money back where you got it and give it back to the nice bank folk. Fighting him is like fighting a cowboy IRL. Every time he shoots you, your def goes down with a short timed stacking debuff. This isn't too bad, by itself he cannot get through Hoshiguma. However, in his second phase, like a real cowboy, he gets a quick draw super where he stuns you and shoots you six times real fast, that's a LOT of def stacking debuffs that will obliterate Hoshi. Like a real cowboy, if he kills someone doing this move, he gets to teleport forward and do it again immediately. So he kills your Hoshi, teleports, kills your Myrtle, teleports, kills your Logos, jumps into the goal and dabs on you. You need some means of cheating to deal with that to make sure that he either doesn't fire it, or whoever he hits with it does not die from it. Also, like a real cowboy, he ignores the overcharge mechanic but has a dmg shield that is removed temporarily if you hit him with the overcharge beam (I think it's a one-second debuff constantly reapplied while he's under the beam so basically you have only the slightest window after the beam stops and the shield comes back). There's a medal in it for you if you beat him in both phases while the beam is hitting him. The event is not too hard but, this guy is number two of the big three asshole event bosses alongside Dolly so don't take him lightly but at least his mechanic is easier to play around and understand
