That worked well! The proof will be if I'm sleeping on the floor by morning, though. I had a cut in the seam of my air mattress that multiple attempts to repair it with duct tape failed. So I bought a vinyl mattress repair kit yesterday. Turned out the heavy paper packaging was just the right thickness to compress the patch into the seam. So I cut a narrow strip, applied the patch, laid the strip over the seam, used a block of hard rubber on top & weighted it down with a 30lb piece of bar stock.
