just found out that creating post threads doesn't work on fedi when one of the posts gets boosted before the rest is published-- and the remote server doesn't have anyone on it that follows that person.

this is because the post gets fetched when the server gets it, at this point it has no replies.

it never gets the reply because nobody on the server is querying the outbox of that user. so... the thread is broken.

another thing that would be solved with C2S.
