Clothing made from natural fibers (cotton, wool, linen) tends to be much more comfortable and last longer than those made of synthetic fibers. For example, a shirt that's made of mix of cotton and synthetic fibers tends to make me sweat, where an otherwise identical shirt of pure cotton doesn't. There are exceptions: socks need some synthetics for strength.
