Just found out that my cousin has breast cancer. Sadly it is aggressive and she needs urgent and radical treatment. Her mum died from breast cancer when she was still in the 30s. Her maternal aunt and two cousins on her mum's side of the family have also had breast cancer. It is devastating news.

Please, please, please check your family history and if you are at risk get checked. I am old enough to be on the UK NHS mammogram screening list and always attend when called for a scan. It is not a fun trip out but neither is it terrible and it could save my life.
