Ok, I just downloaded Wallet of Satoshi. I’m taking it little piece by piece. I *do* like what I hear about the transactional aspects of these micropayments. This far, what has turned me off from bitcoin & similar is the speculative/ponzi feeling it gives me + the sense that BTC is fundamentally energy-wasting/environmentally damaging. However, I might get convinced that the political dimension makes up for the downsides.
