My first dog was an ancient old mutt that just showed up. My dad had a shop in his home, so we had a two lane driveway. She would always lay in the narrow part of the driveway that was only one lane constricted by two trees. As she went deaf, the UPS guy wouldn’t be able to honk enough and wake her up so he had to drive all the way around in the field. Repeat customers knew to get out of their car and give her a couple pats to wake her up. I haven’t ever had a #lgd only a #vgd (very good dog). Current pooches are worthless indoor couch potatoes.
