I've personally known two women who were excellent drivers.
The chopper does seem to go straight into the plane which is awfully suspicious. Bar suicidal terrorism, I hypothesize that whoever was handling the aircraft panicked and froze.
But I still wouldn't blame "women." I blame all the monsters involved in altering qualification standards to plant diversity where it doesn't belong. I'm sure there are women who can do it. They just have to be tested/filtered properly.
