For the last 5 days, our indoor thermometer has consistently shown a temperature of 30°C (~86°F) inside our Metro Vancouver apartment at all hours.
We don't have central A/C (it's uncommon here), so we just put up with the discomfort during the day and run a portable A/C in the bedroom at night.
Today, the indoor temp has dropped to 20°C (~68°F). Much more pleasant!
The problem is that this cooling is accompanied by strong winds. Which are NOT helping the wildfires east and north of here.
