I have a separate word doc for each chapter, but that makes global changes very difficult. But if the whole book is one big document, that's gonna be a pretty large file that's hard to work with.
I guess what I really want is software that can take a whole bunch of separate files, and collate them with chapter numbers etc. as an export process.
Any advice?
