the movie "Bottoms" reminded me, there are a lot of american high school tropes in media, but none of them really encapsulated the actual high school cliques I had. Mine were:

Gay dude with 10 million female friends

Bros who were not jocks but still homophobic and shitty

Basic bitches (not the gay dude's friends bc they are homophobic)

Closeted lesbians and their male friends (a lot of them end up trans)

Nerds (nice)
