No. It's more of a defence kinda functionality. If you get attacked and you have a top layer wallet to the rest of the wallet and it locks it for a certain period if you use the emergency unlock pattern. I don't know the lingo on all these features yet but that's the gist of it. And I recently saw a wallet on here announcing these new added features.
