Definitely. We will build our next place if this one goes and it will be a shack built by us with as little value as possible.
I currently live in a modified manufactured home wuth lots of add ons and it is comfortable cheap to heat and cool and mine. Tax man says it is worth nothing. I love it. I just have to fight for my property taxes
