2026: Republicans will most likely hold the Senate and the House. I don't think we'll see a blue wave like we did in '18 after trump's disastrous first 2 years in office because, well, that's just not the vibe anymore.

2028: Democrats are going to run Newsom and get absolutely shellacked for it. Not sure who the republicans are going to run; trump for a third term? Musk? Beast Rabban Harkonnen?

I'm preparing myself for shit to get real fucking grim.
