In HS a friend was ex-gf of a motorcycle gang leader who died when his bike collided with a poorly parked car in the dark. Said she was nervous. Would I go w/her to funeral?
Wore my best fringe jacket.
2 bikers guarded door to the funeral home. Knew her. Funeral directors briefly cited generic scriptures. Bikers took turns recounting his exploits. Fam watched. Later, forklift lowered his Harley onto his casket & a backhoe dumped dirt on it.
She left to party w/them.
