For once, I wasn't "the freak", "that weirdo", or worse.
Despite what I was told over and over growing up, it's not just me. I'm not the only one who complains about the light, or the crowd, or the sounds.
I'm not the only one who "has to do that".
Fuck, I'm getting teary-eyed typing this.
Nobody there was just like me, but there was just about all of me recognizable in the people there if you piece it all together, from child to adult.
