About 30 minutes ago, a truck driver passed me in the forest and immediately slammed on the brakes, leaped out, and yelled, “Are you packing?” I replied no. Apparently him or his buddies saw a huge cat 4 days ago at the spot the truck was stopped. We call these animals mountain lions or lions around here but they are also known around the world as cougars, pumas, or panthers. They usually won’t attack humans unless you corner them or trigger their instincts by running or riding a bike. (1/2)
