so today we found a home for the guinea pig I'd bought for my Dad (his health is such he can't take care of an animal anymore). Found a dude on Craigslist - I was paranoid he might just want it to feed snakes but it turns out he's legit and has other animals he's taken in. I am so relieved to know our lil gal is in a good place and will be interacting with others cavies. Animal lovers rock!
