Thanks to the Y2K con game I got to spend New Year's 1999/2000 in a conference room at work.
The whole thing was about selling hardware to companies who wanted to get rid of their 3270 terminals and thickNET LANs. After 2K prep, everyone had a Windows PC, email address and learned how to kill time at the office playing solitaire.
