I do feel a bit, um, [EDIT: shallow], for caring about likes on my and others' posts. But I do find it useful. Editing (in the sense of selecting) is really hard, and it's very interesting to me to see how the audience reacts to different images, mine and others.

I'm relieved to see that I can see the like/fave count on my own images on here, including from folk on other servers. Can't see them on my older images from photog.social though.
